The eight Animafest Scanner VIII 2021 international symposium takes place 8 to 9 June 2021. It is a symposium for contemporary animation studies at the Animafest Zagreb (7 — 12 June 2021).
This year´s keynote speaker is the recipient of 2021 Animafest Zagreb Award for Outstanding Contributions to Animation Studies, Xavier Kawa-Topor, culture and film scholar and animation critic and historian.
