Diana Arellano

I am a passionate human being working at the intersection of Technology, Art, and Education, and am now expanding my professional path into Animation Production. I enjoy connecting artists, engineers, and stakeholders, supporting projects from early development through delivery, and helping creative ideas become successful productions. Until recently I was the Technical Directing Senior Lecturer at the Animationsinstitut of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where I was responsible for shaping the curriculum, guiding and mentoring Technical Directing students in their exploration of new technological frontiers while gaining hands-on professional experience. Previously I served as Scrum Master at Bison Schweiz AG, in Sursee; and before that, I worked as Software Development Senior Manager at Accenture Song Content in Stuttgart, Germany. I am also a long-time SIGGRAPH volunteer, where I have worked on both the organization (ACM SIGGRAPH) and conference (SIGGRAPH) sides. Most recently I was the SIGGRAPH 2022 Student Volunteer Program Chair, SIGGRAPH 2025 and 2026 Executive Committee Liaison and I will be the SIGGRAPH 2028 Conference Chair.
