Oliver Conrad

Oliver Conrad grew up in the Swiss Alps before graduating with a BFA in communication design at the Parsons School of Design in New York. He co-founded Kompost, a multidiscipline design and animation studio, where he shaped and refined his craft as a director. His viscerally engaging sensibilities, paired with a unique visual style, distinguishes Oliver’s voice as a filmmaker and storyteller. This is best reflected in his internationally acclaimed “Happy Tales” spots for McDonald’s, which won multiple ADDY’s, a CLEO Award and were nominated for three Annie Awards for Best Animated TV Commercial. Oliver has also directed various award winning music videos and projection mapping projects.
