Mickael Marro

Mickael Marro is a director, 2D animator, compositing artist and illustrator based in Lucerne. He was born in Lausanne and grew up in Fribourg Switzerland. After cultivating a passion for drawing, painting as well as folk's tales throughout his childhood and adolescence, he attended the Propädeutikum Kunst und Design in Bern und Biel in before persuing his bachelor in Animation at the Hochschule Luzern of Design, Film und Kunst (HSLU DFK). It's at the HSLU that he directs his first short film RABABOU , the story of a young boy struggling with self-acceptance taking place at a traditional swiss carnival inspired by Mickael's childhood.
